4 exercises women should avoid



Hi, I hope you are well. In this blog I try and give females an understanding what exercises to avoid while also giving my top exercises to do to achieve fat loss and get stronger. The reason why I suggest not include these exercises, because for most females they want to achieve a toned legs, build upper body strength, build their overall fitness levels to be more 

1.Shrugs

Shrugs are to develop upper traps giving you the manly look on the shoulders


2.Treadmill just for weight loss

Many women focus just on cardio for weight loss. Cardio is a tool for losing calories, the same as boxing. As your weight goes down it becomes even harder to shed the pounds.

Alternatives
Look to vary your workout. Do a mixture of upper body and lower body strength training exercises in the week. 

3. Behind the neck lateral pull downs

Doing the lat pulldown behind the will be very uncomfortable to do. This exercise targets thickness in the upper back.

Alternative
Front laleral pull down

4. Glute kick backs

This exercise is another way to waste time in the gym. Spending minutes trying to activate your gluten will not give you the firm glutes you want.

Alternative
Bodyweight squats. 

Bonus advice.

During the time of the month it is important females to understand their bodies when relating it to their health and fitness. So try to avoid squatting, jumping around or anything that could be pressing on the abdominal area. I encourage all females to stay consistent in the gym so they can continue to be active. (please remember your weight can fluctuate through this time)
