Hi, I hope you are well. In this blog I going to be discussing things that can really annoy you in a gym. As much as the gym is a place where people want to achieve results. The list below can be the reasons why people can not stand the gym.

I definitely have to say I hate a crowed gym. Nothing worse than no space to do anything. Anyway enough of me moaning. Here the list of the thing you hate in a gym:
People on their phones
I started this one first as social media has got us hooked. Now I believe there is a time and a place to be on your phone; and the gym is not one of them. The only exception is your cat is dying or looking at your workout programme...anything else leave it alone
Odd workouts with machines
So the person next to you is totally not understanding how to do the exercise how it is meant to do...Your looking at them thinking they belong in a circus. Ive experience someone
People talking
Don't get me wrong, talking is allowed in the gym. But for over 10 minutes?? Shall I book you table and take your order.
Using more than one weights
Nothing wrong with super setting (doing 2 exercises in one set). But using all the weights/machines available. NO, NO, NO. Now I have fallen victim to this myself, I would super set between two exercises...however, once I see someone who wants to use either of the machines I give it up.
Banging weights
Nothing to add than it is annoying. Constant deliberate banging of the weights. It very often the person doing it has a ego to fill.
Loud grunting noises
As I am writing this, I am trying to separate angry, painful, get that last rep noise to genuine fake noises to draw attention. Reason being I often let noises out when I am trying to push for that extra rep. It is not a noise I want to make but it becomes uncontrollable. So I ca also say people that don't let out any physical noise are often not working hard enough.
Crowded gym
So my big hate...a packed gym, nowhere to train properly. Your machines are taken, your planned workout ruined.
Air con
For some people the feel of sweat in the air is the very thing they enjoy when being at the gym. For some people having the nice breeze hit you as you sweat your way through, is the luxury of as close to fresh air.
Not putting the weights back
I would put this top of the list but if the gym is crowded, its a very good chance there are going to be weights everywhere. The worst feeling going to get weights and they are all mixed up. You need a crystal ball to help find some of them.
Finally...
No parking spaces
Here in Brunei, parking spaces are like gold. Space designed for VIP's and everyone trying to get the closet to the gym. You know during peak times if you are not there early, you better just drive to the furthest spot.
So that is my list. I hope you enjoyed, It was to add some humour to coming to the gym. Just remember put those weight back where you found them!
