When should you get a Personal trainer?

When should you get a personal trainer?

Hi, I hope you are well. You will be reading this if you have either had a personal trainer in the past or you are considering getting one in the future, below are suggestions that I would suggest you should invest in a Personal trainer

1. No fitness experience

If you are someone who is looking to begin their fitness journey, I can definitely say you will be unsure how to correctly perform exercises safely. This can be the reason you have not seen any results as yet. You can get useful knowledge and guidance from a personal trainer that will understand your confidence levels, body type and experience.

2. You have hit a plateau

Most commonly what happens when you exercise, the body becomes adapted to the workouts. You may not know different methods to help burn body fat or even get stronger. Having a different approach to your training can help overcome plateau.

3. Lose motivation

Losing motivation happens with everyone, for some people they need the extra push. So if you are losing motivation, look for someone that can always motivate you.

4. No goals

Having your own goals set out can give you a sense of purpose coming to the gym. Assessing what you can achieve in 4 weeks, 12 weeks and the next 6 months can dramatically change your mind set entering the gym.

5. Improve your knowledge

We all want to be taught new things. So learning more about different methods of training can be beneficial to you in your health and fitness goals.

6. Injury prevention

When you do not know how to perform a exercise it is often when injuries occur. Personal training is not just about pushing and pulling, it is more about how to avoid potential injuries and plan around current injuries.

7. Mentor/Support

This is something I am most passionate about, because every person should have someone they can call on for support, feedback and help when they need it. So when you have an issue with your current lifestyle that could effect the programme it is alway encouraging that you have someone that can support/mentor you through to your goal.

8. Nutrtion

Do you struggle with nutrition? Do you need your calories and macros explained and sorted for you? Having someone educate you what foods are going to help you reach your nutritional goals can be the difference in a result.

Summary

Make sure you have a reason to get a personal trainer. I would recommend getting one just to say you have one. Do your research on the personal trainer to make sure they can help you.

Have a great day
