5 Reasons why you are always hungry
Are you always hungry? The constant worrying of always wanting to eat can effects your mood and your energy levels. I have listed
1. Reducing your carbs to low
Eating carbs is not a bad thing. Carbohydrates are the primary source for energy. You get carbs from bread, fruit and vegetables. Try increasing your carbs by 50-100g daily to see if it controls your hunger
2. Simple carbs
Even though I explained that carbohydrates are your main source for energy, choosing simple carbohydrates as your main options to eat will keep swinging your blood sugar levels up and down. So choose foods that are complex carbohydrates such as, sweet potato, brown rice, wholemeal oats. Try to avoid refined options as they may be the cause of the up and down cycle of your hunger.
3. Not enough fibre
Not having your daily fibre intake of 25-35g daily can impact on hunger and stool movement. You get fibre in chia seeds, most vegetables and fruits and wholemeal options. Fibre controls blood sugar levels which helps with hunger.
4. Weight loss journey
When you are on a weight loss journey the main focus behind it is either too much cardio or less food. So if you combine them both you are only going to finding that you have to lower the food intake. I reckon you would be lying if you said you enjoyed low calorie diets. You can still lose weight, however you will need decide whether you want to keep lowering your food as a result.
5. Finding no time to eat
You have to eat to live, so if you are missing meals on a regular basis, you will find that it plays a part in you work life from having limited energy levels. You should always factor your food in you daily structure regardless if you are very busy.
